2-4frozen burritosabout 6 oz each (beef, bean or chicken)
Instructions
Preheat for 5 mins at 400F
Using rubber tip tongs, place the frozen burritos in the air fryer. The size of air fryer you have will determine how many burritos can fit. Our small unit held 2 large burritos, a larger one could hold up to 6 medium-large burritos.
Cook the air fryer frozen burritos for 12-15 minutes in total, flipping after 7 minutes. How long the burritos will take depends on the size of them plus the unit type you have, some fryers cook faster/hotter than others.
Carefully remove them from the air fryer and serve with your favorite toppings such as salsa, sour cream, and cilantro.
Notes
The frozen burritos in air fryer recipe can work for either beef or chicken burritos! These happen to be the Trader Joes chicken chili Verde ones. Either kind will still take about the same amount of cooking time.
Always preheat the air fryer for even cooking
Flip burritos halfway through for best crispiness
Cooking time varies by burrito size and air fryer model
Use a thermometer to confirm an internal temperature of 165°F
Approximate macros per serving vary by brand, but frozen burritos are a convenient high protein meal
